Motorcyclists account for nearly 25% of traffic deaths in Iran. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users and are disproportionately involved in crashes and casualties. They are 38 times more likely to die in a crash than drivers or passengers in cars.
To help them keep themselves and others safe on the roads, RSP distributes free brochures, reflectors and helmets and also holds Road Safety course for them and give them advice on different topics such as:
- Select a safe helmet
- safe clothing
- detecting hazards
- be seen
- protective gear
- slowing down and riding defensively
- riding safely in night
- protecting your passengers
- training to be a better rider
