The winners of the International Safety Media Awards ISMA 2020 were announced at the Virtual Pre-Conference Global Injury Prevention Showcase – Monday 22 to Friday 26 March 2021 and Road Safety Pioneers NGO received a Bronze medal in the Print section for design, publication and dissemination of educational materials to improve safety knowledge of vulnerable road users.
ISMAs recognize high quality safety media from around the world. The ISMAs provide safety promotion and injury prevention professionals an opportunity to showcase their media initiatives in various categories of audio, print, short videos, ultra-short videos, online/web-based, and campaign.
This year hundreds of entries including from Algeria, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Canada, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Mali, Nepal, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Ukraine, United States, and Vietnam attended the competition and RSP after receiving 2 previous ISMA awards (Finalist for Road Safety Campaigning Section in 2018 and Honorable mention for Ultra short video in 2016) this time won the Bronze medal at the print section.
