RSP received the “Best Practice in Road Safety” award from 24th International Safe Communities Conference (22-25 Aug 2019, Tabriz, Iran) for the activities done for the UN Global Road Safety Weeks.
During the conference, Ali Zayerzadeh also presented RSP’s iRAP SR4S project. RSP team assessed the safety situation of 8 schools which led to safety treatment of 4 schools with less than 3 safety stars by local road authority. SR4S is a useful tool that helps to identify potential risks around schools and if continued by effective education and enforcement, significantly will improve the safety of students.
