How many injuries and deaths are enough to feel that we should work together to reduce the number of road traffic victims?
The best way to honour the memory of those who have suffered on the world’s roads would be for governments to fulfil the commitments they made at the start of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 before it is too late.
For WDoR 2017 RSP collaborated with other road safety stakeholders to show how much important is working in this area. We designed different posters and slogans to raise the public awareness and tell everybody that the crash scene is just the beginning of a sad story.
Some examples were as below:
- My Mom left us before I could understand what an angel she was! She passed away in a crash in which the driver was texting!
- You just saw the crash! and I’m living with that! You don’t how difficult is raising 2 kids without their dad!
- The elites of yesterday, today are called crash victims!!! Let’s work together to tackle this!
- What’s your responsibility to save lives on the road? Are you doing that correctly?
