Safe Riding Initiative Conference

On 12&13th April 2018, experts from different sectors discussed solutions to safer roads at Safe Riding Initiative Conference Conf. New Delhi which was held by CRRI and TRAX Road Safety NGO.

Ali Zayerzadeh, RSP director was invited to the conference and had 2 presentations on Road Safety Advertising and Safe Route to School. In his first presentation, he explained about Advertising Standards and the fact that the campaign must be designed in a way that we can grab attention, convey our message and control for the results. The right approach is a key for more awareness.

In his second presentation, he put stress on the fact that children are just children and it’s our responsibility as Road Safety Engineer, Manager, Police Officer, NGO member, etc. to provide a safe environment for them, education doesn’t work without effective changes in all safety-related elements in their route getting to/from school.

Every day more than 500 children lose their lives on the world’s roads. Many are killed on the journey to or from school – losing their lives while walking to their daily lessons. It’s every child’s right to have a safe and healthy route to school. It’s not negotiable.
